Plenty of pace on show, headed by Jasper Robusto, Shamal and Meisho Taisetsu. DANON FIGO (10) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Change of jockey to Yuga Kawada who has a strong record when aboard, including two wins. Sure to play a big role. WAYWARD ACT (9) missed the frame when resuming from a break last time out, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1400m in the G3 Negishi Stakes at Tokyo Dirt. Has never been out of the placings at the second run back from a spell from three tries and should be better for that first-up run. Leading chance. SHAMAL (2) finished ninth over 1800m at Funabashi at his most recent appearance on November 3. Worth plenty of thought. MATENRO COMMAND (11) turned in a strong run to place two back then safely held in stakes class when 11th in the G3 Negishi Stakes at Tokyo Dirt latest. Ran in far tougher grade last time and was unplaced but can easily bounce back here.
