Winning rider Shuji Akaoka retains the mount. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. FUYUSOBI (5) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 3 lengths back in second over 1400m at this track. Steps up a level but he is capable of another big run. AURA BILLS (6) showed good pace and went on to score by 3 lengths when resuming last time out over 1400m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. RYUNOSU (3) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 1600m at this track.
