Keika is the likely leader at a strong tempo. JURISTA (10) is back after a break of six months. At the last run before the layoff she finished seventh over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Opened last prep with a minor placing at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m. Well placed and happy to have her on top. NIGHTFALL SUN (9) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. HAKUSAN KRAKEN (3) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 920m at this track, beaten only a nose. Likely improver with strong prospects. KEIKA (11) was safely held when resuming last start over 920m at this track, finishing 12th. Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Sure to be thereabouts.
