Lots of speed predominantly from Maxandus, Marinera and Capsity.
MARINERA (9) was a beaten favourite when finishing runner-up twice in the autumn prior to having a spell that did her the world of good judging by her tough win fresh up at Warren 5 weeks ago. She skips a couple of grade for this, but will drop 2kg, and she has the scope to win again. ALTERCATION (3) broke a win drought of over a year when coming from well back to score by a head at Quirindi 3 weeks ago. She stays in the same class, and with only a couple of extra kilos to carry, she has to be hard to hold out again. ENNIROC (2) won at this level at Grafton in early June, and her next 3 starts have all had merit. Stick with her for all combos. CAPSITY (4) has been building her fitness levels, and she was a game fourth at Newcastle just over 3 weeks ago, which is a terrific form pointer for this assignment. Keep her very safe, as she can win this. MAXANDUS (5) was less than a length from the winner in fifth as the favourite here 2 months ago. Don't risk him in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Capsity each way.
