Keen tempo with Surreal I Am and Prince Of Brooky prominent. Competitive race. SURREAL I AM (3) turned in a fine effort to score by a neck at today's track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Was well backed there and absolutely loves the synthetic circuits. Sets up well from the inside and can repeat the dose. SPIRITED DEFENCE (6) could only manage fourth last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.2 lengths. Loves this track and up in trip could suit better now. DOUBLE PI (8) is putting together some solid results, a winner at Pakenham Synthetic last time out. Up in grade now but gets in light and can measure up. BRONTE BEACH (7) finished sixth over 1600m at Caulfield Heath last time out following a determined win two runs back. This looks a touch easier and she likes synthetic. Chances don't end there. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surreal I Am to win.
