Pace looks strong with Ares Elpida pressing on from an outside draw, joining Ruler Of Dirt. ADAM'S APPLE (6) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.5 lengths over today's trip at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and a placing. Rates highly and should go well. HASENO GAISEN (8) was always forward and boxed on to finish third over 1600m at this track last time. Akira Harita who has two wins when partnering stays on. Fitter and looks sure to play a big role. ARES ELPIDA (10) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1600m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Worth noting Wada Joji goes aboard. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RULER OF DIRT (4) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1600m at this track, beaten a nose. Will benefit from that outing. Suitably placed so anticipating another forward showing.
