RAFFAELLA ANGEL (8) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 1800m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at Urawa at the previous outing. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to return to winning form. NON STANDARD (4) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 9 lengths, over 1600m at this track. Expected to be in this for a long way. FLUGEL KU (11) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 2000m at Urawa after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MUCHA SUERTE (12) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 10 lengths over 1800m at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
