The pace looks strong from the outset. GOLDARNIE (5) resumes here but the form she showed when last in work was good enough to feature in a race of this calibre. Revved up for this with a recent trial win and gets 2kg off from the low draw. Ticks a few boxes. METALCRAFT (3) is another first-up but saves his best form for this sprint journey and looks to have a bit of upside. Can run a big race while fresh. THEE CREEK (1) returned to the winners' stall last time out and can go right on with the job now with confidence. CRYOSEISMS (2) has only missed a drum once in four spins over this track and trip and deserves some respect on best figures. GILBERT'S GOLD (7) rounds out the selections. SUGGESTED PLAY: Goldarnie to return a winner.
