A solid tempo on the cards with Scholl Deep leading the way. UNDERSTUDY (1) resumes looking well-placed on his form from last campaign. He was formerly with the Price & Kent Jnr yard, now off a ten-week break with a new camp but he was racing well in town against much stronger opposition and if he's anywhere like that he'll go close. Wary of BELGIAN CHOCOLATE (5) who tried hard in a stronger race at Warrnambool last start having won her maiden dominantly prior at Terang. She draws well and looks nicely placed. SCHOLL DEEP (6) ran on well first up under 61kg at Kilmore when getting a long way back. Fitter now and up in trip suits, hard to hold out. KRASNOLUDEK (3) can mix form but draws well and can figure in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Understudy & Belgian Chocolate.
