Solid tempo with Aegipan, Destiny's Bounty and Cumboogle going hard, closely attended by Ditterich. DITTERICH (7) returns from a short break after turning in a fair effort to finish a close fourth at Canberra back in October. Is noted fresh performer that has to be respected. CUMBOOGLE (2) also returns and it's worth noting he scored over 900m at Wellington at the start of last prep. Boasts a strong record at this track and trip and gets help under the big weight with the 3kg claimer engaged. Bold showing anticipated. AEGIPAN (10) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring to make it two on the bounce to kick off the campaign. Meets some better types this time but gets in well with the claim and is going too good to ignore. FEIMAZUO (12) returns and has run well fresh without winning. Goes well on the home track and the form around her last campaign stacks right up for this. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Ditterich.
