CUTTING EDGE (5) dominant winner over the 1250m here two-back, before dropping in trip and racing without luck when seventh over 1115m at Grafton. Finally drawn a decent barrier and set to bounce back. TEA OR COFFEE (9) at his top for this and has the figures to take this out. Folded up late in a fast run race when fifth over 1300m at Dubbo. Improver on the backup. FIVE RINGS (2) hard to catch on his day and will appreciate this easier contest. In need of the run first-up when sixth over 1415m at Ballina. Has a solid second-up record and worth thought. CALEDONIAN (8) win record hardly excites and expected to race handy again in a race devoid of speed. Place best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cutting Edge looks too sharp for these.
