Solid pace on the cards with Tavijewel and Billabong Alvin who like to get rolling early. JIMMY MANOLO (4) is yet to break through this campaign but has built nicely into after resuming off a long break. Was good last start when beaten just under two lengths in fourth at Wyong. Kept fresh with a month between runs and is expected to be more prominent in running. Peaking now and can get the job done. SINGLE CROWN (7) progressed nicely last start when beaten just a head. Faces a tougher assignment but with some key scratchings he presents a serious chance. WILL TO EXCEL (1) was a determined winner first-up but hasn't quite been able to go on with it over much longer journeys. Drops back sharply in trip for this and reunites with Cahill, who knows him well. Watch for sharp improvement. Last start winner BILLABONG ALVIN (5) also deserves respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jimmy Manolo to win.
