Hot early pace from Cian The Conqueror, Mk's Dreams and Bob's Your Uncle going hammer-and-tongs, with a few others keeping them honest. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (3) finished a close-up fourth of 10 last start over 21450m at Vaal. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. MK'S DREAMS (2) was disappointing in his last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course when finishing fifth of seven. He tries the blinkers for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. On best form shown he should be fighting out the finish. FEEL ALL RIGHT (5) followed up his maiden win with a fair fourth-place finish over this course and distance last start. He is likely to race up on the speed and may be hard to peg back. THE PLAYBOY BOMBER (7) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Well placed in this line-up to go back-to-back.
