Strong early tempo with Big Tamate Roof, Elfin Doll and Ultima Boss leading the way. MANA HOKU (1) was a narrow winner two back at Mizusawa then in the placings last time at Mizusawa. Drops a little in the weights. Ryo Takamatsu who has two wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. CROWN HAWI (2) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. SANEI MAGIC (8) finished second when resuming two runs back at Mizusawa then progressed nicely last time out to score by a neck over 1600m at Mizusawa. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is capable of another big performance. ELFIN DOLL (9) bounced back last start and got the job done by 0.8 lengths over 1600m at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
