A race that is devoid of early speed and it is hard to nominate a leader. BLOT CASTER (2) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1500m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SHADOW CROSS (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was finished 12th in a 2200m contest at Nakayama five weeks ago. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him as he drops into NAR grade. CORN TOPS (5) has switched yards since finishing 12th eight weeks ago over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Can measure up for the new barn in this easier grade of race. LAS JUN (4) is returning from a spell of three months. Finished ninth at Tokyo over 2000m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Yoshiyuki Sakaguchi and looks a live chance.
