Ran on late in the heavy (8) conditions when third over 1605m at Tuncurry on April 18. Placed this distance range last prep and drop in grade suits. The one they have to beat. GOT AN INSPIRATION (2) will relish the sharp drop in grade after struggling when ninth over 2400m at Randwick Kensington in BM78 grade on April 25. Back in trip and expected to figure prominently. AKAUWHEO (5) only has the one win from 14 starts and has excellent wet track credentials. Up in trip when a wilting 11th over 1890m at Newcastle on April 24. Go on previous two runs when assessing his chances. EVERY EFFORT (8) has a good record over this track and trip and on the quick back-up after finishing fourth over 1800m at Merriwa on April 27.
