Solid pace from T O Amazon and Meisho Meisui fending off pressure from other on-pacers engaged. MEISHO MEISUI (10) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 3 lengths over 1600m at Mizusawa. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. HIROSHIKUN (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, crossing the line in 12th. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. CHUO PET (3) didn't do a bad job when third last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 1600m at Mizusawa, beaten 1.1 lengths. That followed a win at Mizusawa the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. PERPETUITY (6) ran below expectations last time at Mizusawa, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
