Genuine tempo from Castrofrancaru leading Think Rich. COURS VITE (4) has been battling to find his best this year and could have just needed all of his runs back from a spell to reach full fitness. He ran the race of an improver last time out at Bendigo when fifth and meets a field of similar types here. This is his best chance to show his true worth. Stick with him one more time. THINK RICH (5) stuck on gamely when finishing third at Ballarat last start and does run his best races when allowed to bowl along in front, due to his lack of a sprint. He is very fit and will keep on grinding away. Include in all combinations. THE YACHTSMAN (9) needs everything to go his way to produce his best but he is carrying his lightest weight in some time thanks to a 3-kilo claim and from the perfect inside draw he can secure a run to suit early on. Don't risk him in this very average lineup. MAC KALHOUN (8) won his maiden by 4 lengths but has not been the same in 2 runs since then. This field is not strong and he drops in weight.
