Strong pace expected with Bob The Horse crossing over from wide out. MATRIARCH ROSE (12) has been racing well this campaign in slightly tougher company than this. Doesn't look too badly off after the claim and getting on the bigger track here is a plus. Won't be far away. BOB THE HORSE (6) posted successive wins at Pakenham before leading a tiring late at that venue last time. Is fit and in form and should be in the firing line for a long way. MURRAY FACTOR (9) was a first-up winner at Bendigo and two subsequent performances have been sound, especially last time when just over length off the winner. Will make a bold bid. GOT SOCKS (7) hasn't set the world on fire in two runs this campaign but faces a class drop here. Look for an improved showing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Back Matriarch Rose and Bob The Horse to win.
