Look for a strong early tempo with Water Legrand setting the tone from an outside draw, joined by Shonan Last Boss. GRAND EST (16) comes here off a break of nine weeks. Scored over 1200m at this track to launch the last campaign. Has recorded three wins when first up from a break. Has found a suitable race. ALLURING VIEW (17) last appeared when successful by 0.8 lengths over 1200m at Kokura ten weeks ago, the only time she went to the races last prep. Strong chance while fresh. RUH (5) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at Hanshin two starts back then landed the prize by a head last time out over 1200m at Nakayama. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. MILD CLAYMORE (4) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 1.2 lengths into fifth over 1200m at Hanshin. No surprise to see him in contention.
