RURAL HAPPINESS (10) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 6 lengths into seventh over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Has never missed the placings at the second run back. Ready to find best form. GRASS CHIFFON (4) worked home well to grab second at long odds at her latest appearance at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m. Good signs last time and is capable of another bold performance. MOUNT BELL (3) returns from a spell. Finished third at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep ten weeks ago. Form at this track is solid. One of the main contenders. MAIDEN TOWER (16) returns from a spell of nine weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when eighth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
