Key runner in this suitable contest. GRUYERE (5) finished 13th over 2000m at Chukyo at his most recent appearance on March 21. Among the better hopes in this easier assignment. MARUMO SILBER (2) returned from a spell a month ago when she was 16th over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Better placed here and expecting her to kick on with that first run out of the way.
