MON SHUTTLE (4) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 3.5 lengths from the winner in fifth at this course and distance. Better than last start and open to sharp improvement. IRON OVERCOME (9) finished fourth after being prominent at the corner at her latest appearance over 820m at this track. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. ASHANTE GIRL (3) has struggled to threaten of late but this looks a more suitable assignment. WELCOME KIRISHIMA (1) turned in a better run last start in sixth over 820m at this track. No surprise to see her in the mix.
