Expecting Vicious Rumour to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. VICIOUS RUMOUR (7) broke through for a deserved maiden win at Dubbo when well supported, and now that the monkey is off the back she’s well placed to go on with it. Draws favourably and looks set to measure up again. PICCADERRO (3) returned with a bang at Port Macquarie, closing strongly to shed the tag. He’ll improve off that, though he’s likely to drift back again from the draw and be charging late. LUNE D'EXCELLENCE (5) was a dominant maiden winner two back at Taree and backed it up with a solid third last start. Carries a fitness edge and is right among the key hopes. LOVE THAT GIRL (12) wasted no time getting on the board and while this is tougher, she’s progressive and worth following. BONOYSTER (8) sets up well third-up and should appreciate the rise in trip. Keep in mind for wider exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vicious Rumour to win again.
