Good early pressure with Sipping Shamus or Commando Jack likely to take up the running. JASPER'S WAY (1) was an eye-catcher late when resuming at Tamworth, charging through the line and giving every indication the rise in trip will suit perfectly. He just has to shoulder the big weight but looks ready to go on with it. SIPPING SHAMUS (3) broke through stylishly last start, controlling things from the front and never looking in doubt. Draws to advantage again and should give another bold sight. COMMANDO JACK (4) showed good tactical speed at Dubbo and fought hard, only to be collared late in a blanket finish. With Bullock taking over, he’s right in the mix. AVOID ME (6) continues to leave herself with plenty to do but the anticipated tempo on the short turnaround plays straight into her hands. Watch for her to be slicing through. DAMASCUS GATE (5) is a lesser chance but can sneak into the frame if he presents on-song and they overcook it up front. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Jasper's Way.
