Milly Molly Mandy is the probable leader in the small field. MILLY MOLLY MANDY (8) has been freshened up since leading for home then weakening in a 1400m Nowra maiden a month ago. Led everywhere but the post the run prior at this track. Nicely placed coming back in trip and will give a great sight. The Autumn Son first starter KENNEDY COMPOUND (5) has created a strong impression with a couple of trial wins during January. Bjorn Baker has an excellent strike rate when he brings one to Orange. Everything points towards a bright start to her career. SIR WILLIAM (3) has shown little in his two runs to date. The application of blinkers for the first time could easily spark things up. DUBLINERS (4) is ex-Godolphin and hasn't raced since September 2024. Keep an eye out for any positive push in the betting. It would come as a shock result if the only other runner CRYSTAL CONSPIRACY (7) won. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Milly Molly Mandy but worried about Kennedy Compound.
