SHINY DUQUE (3) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Finds another suitable race and can maintain winning form. MAROGARE (8) settled well back when 11 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1500m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his ninth at Urawa the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. MARTIAL TALE (5) is a 16-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Urawa over 1500m, beaten 6 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. GENKI IPPAI (7) is yet to break through after 14 starts but not far off a win. Placed two back then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 1200m at this track. Has a strong finish. Has ability and rates among the chances.
