MEISHO KINTAI (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was handy all the way over 2000m at Hakodate. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. ARITHMETIQUE (10) started favourite last time over 1800m at Tokyo but could only manage fourth after she gave away a big start. The extra journey should play into her hands. One of the main contenders. DURA ETERNO (3) fought on well for third last start over 1800m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Has a good gate and gets his chance to break through. BRUCE BAROWS (9) is back from a spell of five months. Debuted with a third, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 2000m at Hanshin at his only appearance to date. Might be in for a strong campaign.
