Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Hells Spirit. HELLS SPIRIT (2) improving gelding going nicely through the grades. Sat on the pace and pulled out plenty to get the upper hand in a tight finish as fav over 2000m at this track. Maps well again and has a sound record here. DOC MARCH (1) proved too strong two runs back at Wagga. Raced without luck with the apprentice aboard, chipping away late to finish sixth over 2000m at this track. Senior rider back on and can take a hand in the finish. JUST LIKE LIAM (10) win record hardly excites and hasn't been that far away of late. Last two runs over this trip have been okay and assess on his on-pace second here two-back. Each-way. OVERLOADED (8) taken back in a stop-start race when left flat-footed with a plugging ninth over 2100m at Echuca. At his top for this and no surprise to see him find winning form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,1,10,8.
