TAKE A HIKE (2) made a nice return at his latest appearance a week ago, finishing 7 metres away in third over 2130m at this track. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and rates a primary contender in this comparable race. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (10) went well to finish second two starts ago then registered a commanding victory last start, scoring by 13 metres over 2130m at Central Wheatbelt. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. SUNDANCER RAINBOW (6) has been hard to fault of late, adding to the winning tally last start with success over 1684m at Pinjarra. No reason why the run cannot continue. ALFREDI (5) is in the mix following a fifth at his most recent appearance over 2130m at this course. Can earn a cheque.
