GOING: N

THANK YOU BRUCE PHILLIPS PACING FOR PINK TROT 1690m

Track: GOOD

LIZZIES SON (3) has had nothing go to plan as favourite in his last two outings, breaking last time out. The prior form was strong including a win at this circuit last month. Draws well and is good enough with manners. STARLIGHT RED (2) has been racing well of late. Added to a string of placings when third at her latest appearance at Echuca, beaten 2.5 metres after leading. Has the speed to take advantage of a nice draw. ALFIE ALWAYS (10) is looming as a real threat after a good effort last start, finishing second at Echuca. Won the only time he attempted this circuit and distance. VAN DOREN (8) must be considered after he finished runner-up from this barrier here a week ago.
