KOKO KABOOM (3) had a favourable gate and was too good at this track two runs ago. Drew wide last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 290 metres into 15th at Addington over 2600m. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. VISCOUNT MACKENDON (8) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 1609m at Alexandra Park. Sure to prove hard to beat on his return. KD ROYALTY (9) is the next best after finishing third over 2500m at this track last time out. HIGHVIEW ROCKN ROLL (5) showed pleasing improvement last time out when runner-up over 2700m at Cambridge Raceway. Has each-way claims.
