IRON BRIGADE (6) produced yet another strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 2200m at Alexandra Park, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Meeting a deeper field this time but he good enough to play a major role. FREDASTAIRE (5) failed last start over 2000m at this track in a run that should be overlooked as he drew poorly. Had been racing well before that, with a win and two placings from his previous three outings. While he meets a deeper field this time he good enough to play a major role. LEO LINCOLN (4) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at this track over 2000m. Genuine threat. LORD DELMAR (10) is the best of the rest after finishing sixth over 2000m at this track last time out.
