Strong early tempo assured with Exceedingly Magic and Emerald Court locking horns. PRECONI (6) showed plenty of ability earlier in her career when trained in Melbourne and both of her wins have come fresh up in the past. She resumes at the right level and can win in a very even lineup. PRANCINGINTHERAIN (8) is an ex-Victorian who has won both of her starts at Alice Springs since shifting stables. She has a handy gate and will be hard to hold out in this as well. BLACK ZOUS (2) is another handy ex-Victorian who comes to hand quickly. He will find things more to his liking in this area and bears close watching fresh up. EMERALD COURT (4) is resuming from a spell after having a very successful South Australian campaign earlier in the year. This is her pet trip and she has plenty of natural early pace. She will be hard to peg back in this. EXCEEDINGLY MAGIC (7) was runner-up when resuming at this level 5 weeks ago and is just as sharp second up. Stick with her. PINK PANTHER (1) is having his first run for the leading local stable of Gary Clarke and has to be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Emerald Court each-way.
