Good tempo with Jay Dee and Kelvin leading the way. LUCKY'S WAY (5) ran home strongly over 1200m at Ascot to just miss by 0.2L most recently. This looks to set up similarly with CJP riding from a tricky barrier. She's likely to go back from the gate, but is sure to be exploding late in the race. AGASSI (4) drops back to 1400m today on the quick backup after a 4.5L defeat at Pinjarra last time out. She's been a long time between drinks for him, but he strikes a suitable race this time and he should be prominent from the draw. Worth including. SPECIAL VIEW (1) has been mixing his form of late but his best figures are good enough. JAY DEE (7) wasn't far away last time out is sure to be about the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lucky's Way gets the nod.
