Plenty of early pressure from Eis King, Shinto Hanano Ran and Ravish battling for the lead over Big American. SHINTO HANANO RAN (3) showed good early pace over 1600m at this track last time and kept going to score by 2.5 lengths. Will again be prominent from the outset. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. EIS KING (6) ran below expectations last time at this track over 1600m, finishing seventh and beaten 3 lengths. His form at this track is solid. Should run well. BIG AMERICAN (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1600m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MEISHO BONGOCHI (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 4 lengths over 1400m at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce straight back into the money here.
