RED SEQUOIA (3) has raced his way into peak fitness and was making up a lot of ground in the home stretch when finishing runner-up at Balaklava 8 days ago. He is normally very competitive in this grade when he hits his form and he has his best chance in a while to win a race. On top. LEADER'S PRIDE (8) has needed all 3 of his runs back from a spell this prep and has also had a trial since his last run here just over 2 weeks ago. The step up in trip is ideal and he is poised to put his best hoof forward in this. THINK TANK (1) does get back in the field but then does normally run on strongly. He needs the right tempo to be effective but this field is not strong and a win would not be a big surprise. ZOFFANY ROCKET (5) is a capable veteran who has lost none of his zest for racing and was only a nose off making it 2 wins on the bounce here last time out.
