Draws wide but his form is strong for this so goes on top. MONTEFIORE (2) is in good form with a string of top-four finishes at this venue. Has the benefit of a good draw so can make an impact. THE METAL FLYER (5) has placed the last two times he raced at this venue, last time drawing widest and racing three deep without cover before sticking on for a 1.4m third. Contender. PROMISING (8) is good enough to measure up to these with his A-game while JOHN MCLEAN (6) hasn't been far away of late and can get into the finish.
