Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Royal Teens. KNOW THYSELF (2) lightly raced gelding who looks destined for better company. Wound up strongly with the 60kg when an unlucky second as favourite over 1250m at Canterbury on resumption. Undefeated second-up and over this trip and gets all the map favours. ENSIGN PARKER (9) improving gelding who was a month between runs when a gritty sixth over 1200m at Randwick on May 25. Can hold a forward position and give plenty of cheek. SILVER HALO (3) Scone-trained filly with the three wins from four starts. Going nicely through her grades and came with a well-timed run when a nose winner over 1300m at Scone on May 17. McEvoy takes the ride and looks solid each-way value. BARCELONA EXPRESS (8) racing in career best form and hard fit for this. Deserves his shot here after smashing his rivals over 1300m at Armidale last time out. Drops sharply in weight with the claim and adds value to the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Know Thyself to win.
