RUN FOR ME (3) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he had no luck in the running. He is having his first run on this surface and with luck in the running should go close. WILLIAM'S LEGACY (2) was his own worst enemy over 1400m last time as he overraced in the early stages, but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. Has each-way claims. REGAZZO GRANDE (4) is back from a brief spell and tackles a synthetic track for the first time. Should be forward enough to run well. PLAYER X (1) has filled a minor placing on three occasions in 12 starts. Failed to add to the tally last time out when tenth over 1000m at Fairview. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from three starts. Has the speed to overcome the draw and will be in this for a long way.
