OMASA (7) scored when resuming last start at this track over this distance after he was in the firing line on the bend. Has a very strong record at this journey, scoring on six occasions from six starts. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will prove tough to beat. MEISHO TABIZUKI (12) is in fine form and hasn't missed the frame in his past 12 starts. Last time out he scored over 1600m at this track. Among the leading chances again. GLETSCHER (13) turned in a solid fresh performance last start when a minor placegetter over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Has a strong record when second-up, including three wins, and should be fitter with a run under the belt. Solid winning chance in this line up. HARLEM SHUFFLE (11) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when 15th over 1400m at this track. Deserves another chance.
