Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. OASIS STAR (7) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish third over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VELOCI QUEEN (3) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Big chance based on that effort. TAESAN SHINHWA (9) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 1200m at this track on January 2. Fitter and is one of the chances. GOAT MAN (5) ended up 26 lengths behind the winner in tenth on debut last start over 1300m at this track. Plenty of scope for improvement. Can feature in the finish.
