Loads of speed from Jackabrae Lad, Kissmyhanddaddy and Just Joan burning turf in the early stages. JACKABRAE LAD (3) made some steady progress last year and will be a lot stronger after his recent spell. He will eventually want more ground than this but he is fresh up and with a 3-kilo claim, he is expected to sprint well first up, especially with the aid of the pole position. Watch the market moves. JUST JOAN (9) kicked on strongly and finished a bold third when resuming at Wellington nearly 2 weeks ago. She strips fitter and with an extra furlong to travel she is capable of taking this out. NASTY STREAK (5) has run the odd good race and he will find this easier than his last run at Orange 6 days ago. He is fit and worth including in all combinations. CONVERSATIONS (1) showed a lot of courage to fight on after leading up and finishing third when resuming at Wellington just under a fortnight ago.
