SORGENTE PO (4) is a progressive four-year-old filly who resumes from a break of 12 weeks, her last appearance being a win over 1200m at this track at her only run of that campaign. Has a perfect first-up record from three starts. Has a strong association with Norifumi Mikamoto who has been in the saddle for her last two wins. Well placed and should be in the finish. IDOL (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 800m at Urawa, ending up in eighth. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. TOP LADY (1) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only sixth over 1200m at this track. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One to consider. PIKO DIAL (8) finished sixth at this track and distance at his last appearance 12 weeks ago. One to consider.
