Solid tempo with Cool Fizz leading from The Piccolino and Where's The Fire. CRESTA RUN (6) talented mare thereabouts in all three runs this time in. Gripped on late when back in trip for a solid second over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Hard to stop in this suitable race. THE PICCOLINO (11) in career best form and can return to form in this company from the good gate. Just over a month between runs when fifth over 1000m at Taree. Best figures measure up nicely and assess on earlier runs. ALTERCATION (9) appreciated the firmer surface with a barnstorming win over 1000m at Quirindi at the good each way price. Has a solid record over this course and trip and proven in all conditions. GRASSBURN (10) finished off strongly when beaten 1.1 lengths last time at Taree. Should be winding up late again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cresta Run can go one better fourth up.
