Spin Class can work over from a wide draw to lead. INDEPENDANT LAD (8) looks the one to beat having made nice improvement at his second start at Wangaratta, closing off well for second. Better again and sets up nicely from the inside. YELLOWKNIFE (7) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1100m at Seymour. Was in the market there and can improve quickly. PRAGMATIC LADY (11) stepped out on her debut over 1000m at Ballarat Synthetic and finished fifth, beaten 1.75 lengths. To 1200m should suit and she can figure. SPIN CLASS (6) didn't fire in a stronger maiden on debut before a spell. Wouldn't shock to see improvement this time around. SUGGESTED PLAY: Independant Lad to win.
