CLEVER PIKO (6) recorded her maiden win five back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at this track. Sure to go well again. KITANO DIA (5) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 0.6 lengths away in third over 1400m at this track. Expected to measure up again. IL CUORE (8) returns from the paddock after closing last prep with two consecutive wins, the most recent over 1300m at Kochi. Must be respected. COLORS RING (9) was fifth over 1400m at this track two weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
