Nefer Asti can work over from a wide alley to lead. NEFER ASTI (10) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 3 lengths over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Expected to cross from wide out. Will play a major role. TOPPI GO (12) showed good pace over 1500m at this track when resuming last time and dug deep to score by 1.5 lengths. Will be handy in running despite the tricky draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. HIOGI (6) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 4 lengths as favourite after being in contention on the bend over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. WIN RISE (9) is back from a spell of 14 months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1400m at this track. Makes plenty of appeal.
