Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Something Great. SODERMANLAND (3) used the inside draw to advantage last start, sitting on the pace and going on to score over 1400m at this track last time out. Isao Yamaguchi who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Expecting a bold showing. DEAD VLEI (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1400m at this track. Worth noting Yukihito Nagata goes aboard. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. LUX MENDES (6) was a winner two back then settled well back and missed the frame latest over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Missed the frame on the tougher circuit last time but better placed here and worth following up. MIRANKA (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
