Genuine tempo from Black Storm leading Nation's Call. Keen to stick with CHANGING COLOURS (8) who has really hit her straps in two runs for the Lucy Yeomans yard, formerly with Chris Waller. She got home strongly fresh and exploded off a moderate tempo at Flemington last start to win dominantly. The late splits there said there was more to come and Shinn goes on from a soft gate. FLYING VALLEY (5) presents third up. He won well fresh before a tough effort down in the weights in the Mildura Cup behind Run Harry Run who has won again since. He should get every chance kicking up from the gate. LOVELYCUT (11) is off a let up but has been racing well. Down in the weights suits and she should be right there again. Can BLACK STORM (3) get the front unopposed? Got to have a shot if that is the case. SUGGESTED PLAY: Changing Colours to win.
